Competitive Delivery Order
When several vendors are awarded contracts to supply an indefinite quantity of a product or service over time, all of the contracted vendors must be allowed a "fair opportunity" to provide each specific delivery order or task order placed under that contract.
Cost No Fee
The contractor is reimbursed for allowable expenses, and receives no additional fee.
Cost Plus Award Fee
The contractor is reimbursed for allowable expenses plus a base fee plus an additional fee determined by an evaluation of contract performance.
Cost Plus Fixed Fee
The contractor is reimbursed for allowable expenses, plus an agreed-upon fixed fee. The fixed fee does not vary with actual cost, but may be adjusted as a result of changes in the work to be performed under the contract.
Cost Plus Incentive
The contractor is reimbursed for allowable expenses plus an incentive fee if expenses come in below a target amount.
Dollars Obligated
Amount potentially owed to a vendor, including the base amount and any exercised options, and set aside for payment. Money can also be deobligated, represented by a negative number, as a result of canceled contracts or contract options, or a project coming in under budget.
Extent Competed, Full and Open Competition
Contract awarded as the result of sealed bids or competitive proposals submitted by contractors.
Fixed Price
A vendor provides a product or service at a fixed rate.
Full and Open Competition After Exclusion of Sources
Some vendors were excluded from competing for a contract before the competition began.
Place of Performance
The location where the contract work is carried out or where the product is delivered.
Vendor
The entity hired, under a contract, to provide goods and/or services.
Vendor
The entity hired to perform services under a contract.
