How We Did It
Data for this site was derived from hurricane Katrina and Rita contract transaction lists posted on the General Service Administration's Federal Procurement Data System Web site (https://www.fpds.gov/) as of March 30, 2007. An effort was made to standardize the multiple versions and spellings of vendor names. However, vendors with the same or similar names but listed at different addresses could not be assumed to be the same company.
