The company utilizes by-products (light naphtha, raffinate, liquefied petroleum gas, hydrogen-rich gas, condensate residue and heavy aromatics) from natural gas deposits and oil refineries in Thailand as main raw material to produce aromatics including benzene, toluene, paraxylene, orthoxylene and mixed xylenes, a group of petrochemical derivatives which Thailand has had to import in high quantity for use as feedstock for various industries in the manufacturing of plastic-based appliances, utensils, equipment and other items of everyday uses.
