Who Are the Top Travelers?

WASHINGTON, June 5, 2006 — Whether measuring by the number of privately funded trips taken or the total amount sponsors spent on each congressional office, members of the House and their aides topped their Senate counterparts during the January 2000 through June 2005 study period. House members or staffers also took the 10 most expensive trips identified in the Center for Public Integrity's analysis.

Here's a breakdown of the top-traveling congressional offices (legislator and staff totals combined) alphabetized by member, followed by a list of the priciest individual trips and who took them:
